Hiranandani to set up multi-specialty hospital in Thane

Hiranandani Group on Friday, September 16, announced it was setting up a 200-bed multi-specialty hospital in Thane city, expected to be operational in the next two years.

“With socio-economic developments and booming population, Thane is the fastest growing district in India. It was my father, Dr L.H. Hiranandani’s dream to provide quality medical facilities emulating global standards for the residents of Thane,” said Niranjan Hiranandani, the Managing Director of Hirandani Group.

“It gives me great satisfaction to present this hospital on my father’s 94th birthday and I am hopeful that this facility will be a one stop healthcare destination for people around Thane,” he added.

The proposed hospital is planned to be a centre of excellence focusing on cardiac care, orthopaedics, cancer care, obstetrics and gynaecology, human reproduction and dental care. In addition, there will be a special focus on elder care, preventive care, foot care, and diabetes.

Also announcing the commencement of Rodas Enclave, a comprehensive township near Thane’s Ulhas river, Hiranandani said, “Being pioneers of exquisite living in Mumbai and its suburbs, the onus is on us to keep expanding our horizons and come up with a performance, which not only exceeds benchmarks but also sets new paradigms.”

Offering a wide range of options from one to five bedrooms, the township comprises 18 towers. The buildings have been designed by well-known architect Hafeez Contractor.

Rodas Enclave would include a clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, badminton courts, squash courts, table tennis room, snooker and billiards room, gymnasium, spa and yoga centre, a party lawn, a restaurant and party lounge.
