For example, the city of Milton Keynes which is beautifully crafted township built 100 km far wide from the city of London.

In this way we should generate more feasible and accessible township projects to promote affordability. Hence, here lies next key solution to the dream of successful affordable housing.

Integrated township is completely a new paradigm shift in lifestyle planning and has been designed with the vision to provide community living with affordable amenities. It offers a complete lifestyle package where every small aspect of comfort and convenience has been taken care of. Location advantage, easy accessibility, proximity from the important parts of the cities does the wonders.

Township is designed to offer lifestyle living but at an affordable budget. The projects aim to be city with in a city. Integrated townships are a good business proposition. They are the way to go because they bring together all the elements that customers demand which is ‘walk to work,’ lifestyle, shopping complexes, facilities for leisure, health clubs, sports amenities and entertainment.

As the cities are getting densely populated and huge traffic congestion becomes a great hindrance, integrated townships promise a congestion-free living environment within and helps in decongesting the city.

Today, owning a home in the city has become a lot more burden and costly. Now, the only solution for the escalating prices and increasing interest rates on home loans, owns a property in an integrated township coming up in the outskirts of the city.

But sadly, I find that developers and government are more interested in forming SEZ over township. We need to understand that we are more in need of shelter rather than an industry.

So, the government and regulatory bodies should be pushing hard to implement developing of integrated township projects in the cities.
