Godrej Properties launches Godrej BKC

Godrej BKC occupies a corner plot in the middle of India’s most prestigious and desirable commercial address, the Bandra-Kurla Complex.

At 1.3 million square feet, this is one of the largest real estate development projects launched in the city. The construction of Godrej BKC has commenced and the project is expected to be complete in 2015.

Godrej Properties and Jet Airways have partnered for this development and will share the profits from the development in a 50:50 ratio.  Of a total saleable area of 1.3 million square feet in Godrej BKC, 161460 Square Feet of carpet area will be used by Jet Airways as their state-of-the-art new headquarters.

Godrej BKC will offer a floor plate of 70,000 square feet.  A grid of 9 * 9 metres ensures efficient area utilization and flexibility in planning office layouts. The outstanding design, spectacular views, flexible floor plates, elevated landscaped terraces, open interior common areas, and a curated art program will make Godrej BKC India’s most desirable office address.

Godrej Properties has collaborated with several of the world’s most renowned architects and engineering consultants to design this visionary project. Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM), a leading architectural firm that has designed many outstanding developments across the world, including the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the Freedom Tower in New York, are the lead architects. Larsen & Toubro (L&T), India’s leading construction company, is constructing Godrej BKC.
