Rustomjee-Evershine inaugurates “The Yazoo Park”

A state-of-the-art amusement park, spread over a sprawling 12 acres of scenic land, was inaugurated with much grandeur at a glittering ceremony held here tonight at the hands of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi chief and legislator, Hitendra Thakur.

The Yazoo Park is a unique proposition from Evershine and Rustomjee developers and is part of their ambitious joint venture Global City, a township spread over 217 acres in Virar.

The amusement park is borne out of the Rustomjee-Evershine’s extensive research on children, prompting them to take a step forward and to create constructive spaces for the well-being of children in their Townships & other projects. Boman R. Irani, Chairman and Managing Director, Rustomjee Group said “Yazoo Park is for Kids and for all Adults with a kid inside them. It manifests the Group’s belief that every child’s home should have a wonderland attached to it. Hence Global City comes with a carnival of its own so that children do not just end up seeing them on TVs”.

Yazoo Park is carefully designed to ensure that children and the child within an adult receive the maximum amount of enrichment and stimulation. Yazoo Park aims to built conducive environment which encourages children to play freely, using all of their multiple intelligences to greatly enhance their all round development.
