RICS India conference on Urban Infra

The conference is supported by the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and the EuroIndia Centre and will be held on 10-11 August, 2011 at New Delhi.

Kamal Nath, Union Minister for Urban Development will inaugurate this two-day conference, which will provide a platform to share knowledge and learning’s from similar exercises that other global cities have already undergone or planned for sustainable growth.

The conference being organised under the ‘RICS Vision for Cities’ programme is positioned as an initiative that will allow stakeholders from across the real estate and infrastructure ecosystem to come together to deliberate on issues concerning urban planning and infrastructure.

In light of what is happening globally, the conference will look at exploring and understanding the kind of urban growth being anticipated in India and what areas, satellite cities and urban corridors will accommodate the burgeoning urban population of the country in the coming years.
