KUL to invest over Rs 250 crores in shopping complexes

The shopping complexes will come up at Balewadi Hinjewadi (KUL Ecoloch Town Square), Bibewewadi (KUL Plaza), and the Baner-Pashan Link Road (KUL Symphony Plaza), KUL Square Kondhwa etc. All the complexes have been designed to have ample parking space.

“All these shopping facilities, being part of the existing or upcoming residential zones, will cater to the specific shopping needs of the people living there. With customer delight being our ethos, we have taken care to ensure their maximum satisfaction in terms of pure shopping pleasure,” said Kruti Jain, Director, Kumar Urban Development.

“In fact, this endeavour is the result of a dip-stick survey that our marketing teams have done over the past six months or so to gauge the people’s requirements and we hope to meet them,” Ms Jain said. “Parking is the most important need of shoppers and we have taken care of this with ample parking lots inbuilt in our designs,” she added.

The maximum number of 140 shops will be accommodated at KUL Plaza, Bibewewadi, ideally located on the Pune-Satara Road which buzzes with the activity of an already established wholesale market.

KUL Ecoloch Town Square will have 65 shops. This will take care of the IT/ITES work force of Hinjewadi and Baner.

With self contained shop and offices starting from 300 Sq.ft., the Town Square will have an excellent business potential with assured captive audience. Buena Vista on the Baner Pashan Link Road Pune is also close to the IT Park – Hinjewadi – a densely populated area having people with sizable disposable income levels. The location is best suited for Jewelry, apparels, cosmetics and other retail businesses.

KUL High Street is situated in Kondhwa Khurd, a densely populated residential zone. Being in the proximity of Swargate, Camp, Hadapsar and Katraj, it is the perfect shoppers’ destination. KUL Square is surrounded by other prestigious KUL projects like Kumar Suraksha, KUL Sublime, Kumar Sansar etc and hence automatically assumes significance from the point of view of retail and convenience shopping.
