A first-of-its-kind real estate exhibition showcasing the finest properties and realty investment opportunities in Kerala is being organized in the city. The two-day Kerala Property Show gets underway at Hotel Tunga Regenza in Vashi, Navi Mumbai on Saturday and will be on till Sunday, April 17.
Being organized by Identity, a company specializing in conducting property shows world wide, the expo has 21 reputed builders from Trivandrum, Kochin, Kottayam, Thrissur, Kannur and Calicut showcasing their properties. Among them are Sobha Developers, Infra Housing, Hilite Builders, Crescent, Flair Alliance, Olive, Big Infratech, Heera and CIDBI.
Kerala has earned the sobriquet ‘God’s Own Country’ for many reasons but mainly on account of its natural lush green settings and scenic landscape. The state has also attained a unique status on account of making it to the list of the top must-see global destinations. “Over the few years, tourism has been peaking in Kerala which had a direct bearing on its economy and other related industries like real estate and hospitality,” says Manoj Kochery, Managing Director, Identity.
The large scale tourism enhancing activities that are being undertaken in Kerala have been attracting the attention of many real estate companies to invest in the state in order to cater to the accommodation needs of the tourist on a larger scale. Owing to its world renowned status, Kerala is expected to provide the best of real estate services to the prospective clients.
Simultaneously, the IT sector boom in the state, especially in the rapidly expanding Kochi, Trivandrum and Calicut sector, has also paved way for the setting up of IT Parks and state-of-the-art buildings and hi-tech campuses, thus enhancing the scope of the real estate scenario in Kerala.
“Besides development such as privatization of international airport and upgradation of the seaport at Kochi have brightened the prospects of the real estate scene in the state. As part of the latest trend in the industry, religious tourism has been a motivating factor for the reality boom in famous centres of Kerala such as Guruvayoor township,” Kochery adds.
Kerala’s strategic geographical location and its multicultural ambience have gained a lot of importance amongst people from outside the state and the country. With the state government also implementing new ways to attract more FDS in the form of real estate investments, it has also encouraged realtors to tap the state’s potential. The exhibition offers a first-hand feel of the development in Kerala with the offerings at Kerala Property Show.
